Botanical Information: They are dwarf shrubs from the stonecrop family, most of which shed their leaves in winter, and some of them always maintain their greenery. Their roots are fringe-shaped and do not go too deep. Its branches are weak. It produces new shoots from the bottom every year. Its fruits are in small clusters. The grains on the clusters are round and very brightly colored. Since the shell is translucent, the kernel inside the grain can be noticed. The fruits are tart and sweet. There are four main types of well-known currants: I-Small red currant, II-Large red currant, III-Black currant, IV-Yellow currant.
The most popular of these is large-grained red currant. This grape variety is effective and has a lot of juice. It is suitable for making syrup. The currants should be collected after they have fully ripened.
