Botanical Information: It is a perennial herbaceous plant that belongs to the Compoundaceae family and can grow up to 1 meter. It grows wild in uncultivated fields, roadsides and hillsides all over Anatolia. It has a hard-structured body covered with fine hairs and divided into hollow branches. Its leaves, which are hairy on the bottom and toothed on the edges, form rosettes, are light blue in color. It sometimes blooms between June and September with purplish petals. 20 cm in soil. It has a bitter milky tap root that goes down to the depth. Dandelion reproduces with the seeds it sheds.
Known Composition: Dandelion leaves contain inulin and some sugars, and its roots contain inulin, sugar and a substance called intybus.

How to Use: After washing the stems together with the flowers, the flowers are plucked and the stems are slowly chewed. Its taste is bitter, crisp and juicy. It resembles the taste of curly salad. 5-6 flower stalks can be eaten per day.
How to Use: Take 2-3 teaspoons of dry root pieces and heat them in water until boiling, then reduce the heat and continue heating for another 15-20 minutes. You can drink a glass of the decoction prepared in this way twice a day.
